Hello ladies and gentlemen, I am your host, the Baumeister. For many of us, we judge how good a wrestler’s legacy is based on how many titles they have, or haven’t won in their careers. But, what about the heritage of those titles? That’s where we are going to look at here. Not just who won the championship, where they won and how long they held it, but also interesting information unique to that championship’s history.
This is part of WTFebruary, a month in which the focus is solely on the strange, bizarre, and just plain bad of professional wrestling.
This week’s featured championship: TNA Beer Drinking Championship
- James Storm: “Won” November 11, 2007 at TNA Genesis 2007 in Orlando, FL, after introducing the championship in a drinking contest with Eric Young. Held the title for less than a day.
- Eric Young: Won November 11, 2007 at TNA Genesis 2007 in Orlando, FL, “winning” a drinking contest vs James Storm. Held the title for 106 days.
