Oooh, I Want To Read This #4

Hello everyone! Welcome back once again to another edition of “Oooh, I Want To Read This”! Have you found some things you may want to read? Or maybe some things that have come from my want to reads.  And last week, I overloaded you with four reads.  This week, I’m bringing it back down to two.  There weren’t any other books that struck my fancy.  Remember, it’s a book that I own that I haven’t read, and a book that I want to read and don’t own.  Don’t forget to click on the covers to go to their Goodreads page for more info.

Ok.  Ever since I was in either middle school, or early high school, I have been in LOVE with The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy series.  I mean, absolutely in love with it.  And who wouldn’t be? I’ve also read through part of one of his other novels, but when I saw that he had some involvement in Doctor Who, I was intrigued.  Now, granted, I might be a cheating a little bit, since Beth started reading this to me at one point, but to my knowledge, we didn’t finish it, or even get very far in it (we switched to something else).  But, I’m a big Whovian, and I love the work of Douglas Adams, so, sign me up!

A take on a Poe piece? Sign me up.  This is another one of the books that I’ve eyed when I lived with Beth, but never got around to reading (see a pattern here?).  That being said, I think it’s an interesting idea on the whole take on The Fall of the House of Usher, and I love the premise.

Well, that’s it for this round.  Hopefully these reads have piqued your interests to add this to your own “To Be Read” lists.  Until next time, when I feature another pair of books that I’m picking off of my “To Be Read” list.  Until next time, I am the Baumeister, and I have been, obediently yours.
