Old Time Radio History #16

Hello everyone, and welcome back once again to “Old Time Radio History”! Today, we’re going to jump ahead in time.  Now, the “Golden Age of Radio” ended on September 30, 1962, when two long-term shows finished their lengthy runs.  Those were “Suspense” and “Yours Truly, Johnny Dollar”.  However, we got a brief little revival with a figure in the Golden Age at the helm:

Created by Hiram Brown, the same man who created Inner Sanctum Mysteries, the show ran every day for the first six years of its, and ultimately aired almost 3,000 episodes, in which there were 1,399 unique episodes.  Here below is the 1st episode, entitled “The Old Ones Are Hard to Kill”.

Did you enjoy the show? Are you ready to dive into the 1,399 unique episodes? I sure am.  Until next time, I am the Baumeister, and I have been, obediently yours.
